How bearish is upcoming PUMP token to SOL? The rational is that with PUMP no need to own SOL for casino exposure.

It’s bearish unless the PUMP tokenomics suck

Excellent article. Twice you mentioned that people may buy this PUMP token for sheer lack of alternatives in the crypto space. I did not know that was a thing: if I go to the restaurant and the menu is either meatloaf or plates of diarrhea with different spices added…I don’t feel compelled to order the meatloaf, I feel compelled to eat elsewhere. Is there really a bunch of money that is staying in crypto no matter what just waiting to buy anything with revenue instead of just parking in QQQ, and if so, why?

If you’re a fund that raised money to invest / trade crypto you can’t take that capital and invest in other asset classes

Maybe I should have more mercenary thinking, like I used to in my younger trading days, but an exchange allowing degens to buy the dumbest PnD products known to man is just not something I want to be invested in (that said, I've owned $HOOD for a while and the returns have been rewarding so far).

Thanks, a lot to chew on here and game out how a potential public launch might go. How do you see the ways a public launch for PUMP could go and maybe roughly their probabilities?

I'm skeptical why PUMP would want to raise anyways w/ this cash cow and if they are, I would bet these private investors will want liquidity as what would even be the real use for these funds when they have to be one of the top 10 highest profit/stakeholder org in the world up there with Tether, HL and HFTs. It's like if Jane Street was IPOing, that'd be a major red flag lol.

Basically in my mind I'm imagining 1 of 3 launch types: HYPE, TRUMP, MELANIA/LIBRA in order of best to worst case and coincidentally, least to most likely. Would be interesting to see if and how long a liquidity black hole for this could last.

Agreed. They would raise if they think income has already peaked.
