Just to get it; when you say “job/self employed/biz”, I guess we’re talking remote analyst type of job / SAAS type of biz..?
I’m in a nice / somehow stuck place, where I’m part partner in a business (nothing to do with finance/crypto) and the managing director; so I’m really taken by the job but also have some freedom with my type of position.
Still wondering how/what to dig in for a side hustle.
Sorry no idea what your question is to be honest. The crypto career part explains how to go about getting a job in crypto if you want to go into that direction
Side Hustle/WiFi money not related to crypto is over on BTB
Does the course make sense for someone who's been in crypto for a few years? Or is it more of 101 series? I'm keen to learn about fundamental and protocol analysis but am well versed with fundamental Blockchain and self custody concepts. Would it make sense for someone like me? Sorry but I could not make that out from the course modules list. Thanks.
thanks for the question we'll issue a clarifying tweet. The fundamental blockchain stuff is just for people who don't know it yet. Here's how I'd view it:
- Total beginner: Start from section 1 go all the way through
- Knows crypto not defi: Start from section 3
- Knows defi wants to improve FA, market understanding, etc: start from section 4
- Knows all the above, wants job/self employed/biz: start from section 7
Why isn't the above content already included in the DeFi substack subscription? At most, the course should be $100 for existing DeFi subs not $499 minus $100 discount (per year) - comes off as a cash grab but yeah of course I haven't tried the course so I can't really say that.
1) it takes many hours to create something like this - months actually
2) there is no way to put all of this on here
3) it separates people who already know crypto and those that don't. If you already know everything we write about it's less relevant for you. If you are a beginner you won't understand anything we write so better to start there
Alright frens, considering how much I enjoy your content I just bought the course.
Thank you!
O I can’t wait to lap MFS on the next bull run 🐎
Thank you for doing this. Looks great.
Just bought the course, if only to support. Keep up the great work !
thanks for the support!
Question about the crypto career portion...
Is it useful/can guide non-coders or is coding mandatory to break into a crypto company?
(Cheers to your work and the value in generates in the world btw, I moved my bitcoin/ethereum out of blockfi/nexo months ago bcs of you)
Sorry for the late response. Yes, it’s geared toward non-coders. Lot of crypto positions out there not for coders (BD, marketing, analytics, etc)
& thanks!
Wont let me subscribe to course. keeps giving me an error at checkout. will have to try again tomorrow

Ok ok, was seeing the Academy as a potential starter to set base for side hustle/wifi. All is clear.
Cheers and keep up the great work, as always.

Is this beginner crypto friendly? What skillset should one have before purchasing?
It's from zero to hero. Starts with basics of BTC all the way through and we'll answer questions within the system if you are confused about any part

There are several reasons
1) it takes many hours to create something like this - months actually
2) there is no way to put all of this on here
3) it separates people who already know crypto and those that don't. If you already know everything we write about it's less relevant for you. If you are a beginner you won't understand anything we write so better to start there
4) we're setting up for new audience long-term
think you answered your own question at the end there but I'll also add that there's no way to get certain concepts across via substack
Substack = *live* day to day research, analysis, deep dives, etc.
Academy = how the sausage is made. Evergreen
Yes exactly, a lot of people simply give up because they can't understand anything there. This way there is a portal for anyone new to go from zero
