Yes, combination of upgrades making the chain/rollups cheaper to use, more activity on rollups, and less demand to pay high prices for blockspace (EIP 1559 burns the base fees, if the base fees are lower but transaction quantity remains constant, burn goes down). It was urgent/competitive transactions causing deflation rather than people merely using the chain.
We probably need a meme/NFT meta to restore ETH to deflationary, meanwhile there's now in the region of $145mm/month of emissions, so a spot ETF to soak some of this up would be very welcome.
If you had a significant stack of money ready to be deployed at the moment, would you:
a) Buy ethereum today/before May 23rd (anticipate bottom is in: greedy when others are fearful)
b) Wait to buy ethereum untill after May 23rd/sec decision on eth etfs (anticipating a further drop)
c) Buy btc for now and convert to ethereum later this year
d) Buy btc and hold
Sidenote: I already have a stack of eth and altcoins that are worth about 2x what i am currently looking to add (and I hold no btc at the moment as I'd like to believe eth will outperform)
If the 2020 election is any signal, there are no lengths politicians and the media will go to give their side an edge over the competition.
will NOT go to
Any thoughts on ETH being inflationary again please? 🙏

Would love to have your insights!
Did the May 17th reply tip you in favor of getting into ETH/BTC or ETH/USD before May 23rd...?
I had already been thinking about updating on my comment 😉 i went all in on eth on the 19th. Another day, another slay. Thank you Iguana!
Glad to hear, enjoy!
I would do
a) buy ethereum today/before May 23rd
Would also believe that ETH will outperform / get significantly above 0.05 at least once in this cycle.
FYI I would put the ETH to use on Juice for the 16-17% APY
Still interested in zyn ?
